Betting profiles
Tippy has three types of profiles: smart profiles, passive profiles and archived profiles. A profile is used to organize the bets that you make on each account or betting website.
Smart profiles
Your proactive assistant! Smart profiles are capable of placing bets automatically, based on your profile and channel configurations. Each profile you have active will have its own browser tab on the Tippy application, and each of these tabs have their own set of cookies and browser storage. You can think of it as if you have an anonymous tab.
Example: Let's say you trust a particular tipster's advice on football games. You can set up a Smart Profile to automatically place bets whenever that tipster shares a new tip!
Good to know:
Each time you reopen the Tippy application your cookies and browser storage will get cleared.
Passive profiles
Your laid-back observer! Unlike the proactive Smart Profile, the Passive Profile simply observes and logs your betting activities without taking any actions. It's perfect for those times when you want to manually place bets but still want to keep track of your history. It can also be used to randomly place automatic bets. For example: every 3 hours, login and place an automatic bet on an odd from 1.5 and 2.0.
Archived profiles
Your record keeper! Over time, you might want to retire certain profiles but still keep a record of their activities. Archived Profiles allow you to do just that. They won't place any bets but will serve as a historical record of your past betting strategies. You can also reactivate an archived profile at any time.
Example: Perhaps you had a Smart Profile set up for the NBA season. Once the season ends, you can archive this profile to revisit your betting decisions and learn from them.
